Welcome to the Vanguard Writing Center scheduling system!

• To get started, register for an account by clicking the link to the left.
• If you already have an account, please log in to book an appointment.
• Please schedule your sessions at least an hour in advance. For example, if you log on at 12:00 pm you can only schedule a session after 1:00 pm on the same day. This allows time for our consultants to be prepared and informed before your session. 

Please note: For traditional undergraduate students, you will only receive feedback/assistance with your assignment provided you attend a session either online or in-person. We are not an editing service and we will not be editing essays and sending it back without meeting. Again, you can meet online or in-person, but you must schedule an appointment with the writing center in order to receive feedback/edits/instruction. 

This semester we will be working to serve you in a "hybrid" format. You will be able to choose the option of meeting with your writing consultant in person or online using ZOOM, depending on your preference and the availability of the consultant. We take your meeting preference seriously and will do our best to accommodate you, provided we have the availability. To help you keep your appointment time, you may email your paper as a WORD attachment to the Writing Center email account (writingcenter@vanguard.edu) at least four hours before your appointment time. In the subject of the email, please write your appointment time and the consultant's name.

EXAMPLE: "9:20 am appointment with Michael."

At the time of your appointment, your consultant will have read your paper in advance and will spend time giving you feedback.
